This course is based on the work of Dr. Gordon Neufeld ("Hold On to Your Kids") and is taught by Todd Sarner, MA, the Co-Director of Transformative Parenting. Todd helped develop this course with Dr. Neufeld and is the only person teaching this course at present.

• How to help your child deal with separation problems (including problems with sleep)
• What form of "discipline" is appropriate for this age group (attachment-safe & developmentally friendly)
  
• Why a preschooler wants to say "NO" all the time (and how to get them to work with you)
• How rituals and compassionate limit setting can help avoid parental burnout (and make your child feel safe at the same time)

• Why it's critically important to let children have their tears (and how tears actually assist in your preschoolers' development)
• How to handle the problems that can occur between siblings (including multiples)

The course will be held on Saturday, October 18th from 9:30am to 4pm at the Corte Madera Town Center Community Room. Coffee and tea will be served and there will be a one-hour break for lunch (as well as two 15 minute breaks).
